At her Feburary talk, Laurie Williams mentioned
two efforts to investigate and quantify aspects of software
development process at NC State. Maybe your project and
these research activities are the perfect match for each
other?
- DEV-COP [Eclipse plug-in that can be used to record
validation and verification (V&V certificates) in the
code itself. These certificates can be used for empirical
studies of V&V methods (such as pair programming and
inspections) and ultimately for defect density estimation.]
