Aldo Dagnino is currently managing the Software Engineering Program at ABB in the US. The objective of the Program is to assist ABB development sites to improve their product development processes using the CMMI as a framework for continuous process improvement. Aldo Dagnino has worked as Manager in this program since 1999.
In 2000 Aldo
Dagnino received the Inventor of the year award in the laboratory at ABB. His
previous experience was in Canada developing Software systems for the
Manufacturing Industry to support their knowledge-intensive activities. This
activity lasted for 9 years. He was the Canadian
Coordinating
Partner for the Intelligent Manufacturing Systems Initiative, which was an
international program to promote the development of advanced software systems
for the manufacturing industries in the industrialized world. He am currently
member of the IEEE Computer Society.
