Andrew Cordes is a member of the ABB Software Process Initiative
(ASPI) team residing in Raleigh, NC at the ABB US Corporate Research Center. He
has over 20 years of experience in software development, project management,
and process improvement. His career has included positions with Harris
Corporation (GCSD and GISD), GTE Government Systems, General Dynamics, and ABB.
As a member of the ASPI team, Cordes is responsible for leading and
participating in Class B and C CMMI appraisals and managing the ABB corporate
product development knowledge base for change agents and project managers.
Eric Buchholtz s is a member of the ABB Software Process Initiative(ASPI) team residing in Raleigh, NC at the ABB US
Corporate Research Center. Eric has over seventeen years of experience in
Quality Assurance managing and conducting engineering level analysis and test
of software systems to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and
company policies. He has eleven years of recent experience in Business
Rule Analysis and Business Process Reengineering with the responsibility for
developing, implementing, managing, and training of
software andhardware development and evaluation methodologies. His career has
included positions with Lockheed Space Operations Company, Computer Sciences
Corporation, GTE Government Systems, General Dynamics, and ABB. As a
member of the ASPI team, Eric is responsible for assisting ABB organizations
assess and improve the processes used during the product development life cycle
in order to deliver a quality product on time and within budget while
satisfying the requirements of ISO 9000:2000 and implementing the practices of
the Software Engineering Institute'sCapability Maturity Models.
