Biography: Carl Nagle

Carl Nagle has been working in the test automation field for over 19 years. He began designing hardware test fixtures and software drivers for analog and digital assemblies, and gradually migrated entirely to software test automation.

For nearly 6 years now at SAS Institute, Carl has been focusing on the use and development of open-source tools for functional test automation. He is the lead architect and Project Manager for the SAFSDEV project on SourceForge. This project is dedicated to the development of open-source tools for multi-platform, keyword-driven test automation. This testing methodology is also known as "action-based testing".

The SAFSDEV project has been featured in various forms and forums, including the book "Just Enough Software Test Automation", by Daniel Mosley and Bruce Posey.
