Automating Builds: Knowing Where You Are
One of the requirements for a successful project is to know the status of that
project at any time. Knowing what milestones have been reached is part of the
picture. But how does the team demonstrate to each other and to management that
each milestone is a solid win?
This presentation will show how automated builds can not only solve some technical
problems, but help provide a snapshot of the project. Examples will be shown
with NAnt, although the same ideas will work with other build tools, as well.
